Rockford Ace Hardware has been in business for over 80 years. Rockford Hardware was started in 1928 and has progressed to Rockford Ace Hardware. We are affiliated with Ace Hardware Corporation based in Oak Brook, IL, which is a retailer-owned hardware wholesaler that began operation in 1924.
Rockford Ace Hardware was originally located in downtown Rockford and was founded by Dick Kuieck. In 1966, the store was purchased by Jay Kuieck and Charlie Eilander. Rockford Hardware did not change much during the past 55 years; however, in 1983 the store was bought by Pete and Amy Kruer.
Progress was the norm from that time on. In 1986, Rockford Hardware became Rockford Ace Hardware. Over the past twenty five years, the retail square footage expanded from 2500 to 8500! In 1997, Rockford Ace Hardware moved to the present facility on Northland Drive.
Rockford Ace Hardware located in Rockford, Michigan, has a wide variety of hardware and appliances. From painting to plumbing, we equip our customers with the tools and appliances they need to get the job done. We offer helpful service, expert advice and friendly customer care. We are open seven days a week and provide service to the Rockford, Cedar Springs, Sparta, Belmont, Pierson and Sand Lake areas.
